Bryan Popplewell
Bryan has been musically active since he was first able to sing his ABC's. He participated in every available musical activity throughout his years in school and has performed in a variety of bands on the side. His diverse experience has been a great asset to his musicianship, having performed in styles as varied as classical, jazz, blues, folk, country, rock, reggae, and funk. His instrument of choice is the bass, but he is also trained in all other beginning band and string instruments as well as the piano. In addition, he possesses extensive knowledge of music theory.
Bryan has taught music in the public schools since 2001. Flexible in his approach, he is able to tailor his lessons individually to each student based on their unique needs and goals. Finally, his philosophy of teaching is based on the idea that learning music should be fun!
